You will start the trip in Hanoi capital, Vietnam’s historic and charming city. You will be guided to explore the bustle and graceful Pho Co (Old Quarter) and its hundreds of special handicraft shops selling silk cloths, lacquerware, embroidered linens, furniture, bamboo, cooking utensils, ceremonial objects and much more.

Next to Pho Co, Hoan Kiem Lake is considered the heart of Vietnam’s capital with emerald water and a beautiful boulevard on its side is a good place to have a walk around and watch many oriental architectures surround and take a cyclo (tricycle) ride to the Thang Long Water Puppet Theater or Lotus Theater for a traditional Water Puppet performance. Then you will dine in French colonial villas converted into gourmet restaurants and enjoy people-watching at stylish cafes. You can also shop for impressive modern art in the city’s many galleries, then visit Hanoi’s main cultural attractions, including Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, his House on Stilts, the One Pillar Pagoda, the Fine Arts Museum and the Temple of Literature. Alternatively, on a day trip, you can cruise among the dramatic limestone islands of Ha Long Bay.

After Hanoi capital, You will board a flight to the most dynamic city in Vietnam – Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Saigon), the country’s most commercial center and home to a growing number of upscale restaurants, shops and skyscrapers. You’ll be accompanied to visit Chinatown, the Thien Hau Pagoda, the Reunification Palace, the Opera House, and the Hotel de Ville ( The city’s People’s Committee). If desired, you can also visit the War Remnants Museum ( You are advised to be considered to visit).

Next, you will explore colourful outdoor markets and Dong Khoi Street, the city’s main shopping boulevard with shops selling luxury branded clothes and accessories by new Vietnamese designers, hill tribe crafts, high-quality linens, and housewares. Next, you will take a day trip to the Cu Chi Tunnels and watch an unusual, eclectic religious ceremony at the main temple of Cao Daism, a unique fusion of world religions. On another day trip, you will tour the narrow canals of the Mekong Delta to see the traditional rural lifestyle of the Vietnamese southern countryside.

Day

01

Arrive Hanoi City (D)

You will be welcomed by ViTravel’s guide and driver on arrival at Noibai International airport and transferred to your hotel in the city center. You will have free time before a welcome dinner at Rue Lamblot Restaurant or a similar one before an overnight stay in Hanoi.

02

Hanoi (B/L)

Today you will have a full-day city tour and shopping adventure in Vietnam's historic and charming capital. You'll explore the bustle and graceful Old Quarter and its hundreds of special handicraft shops selling silk cloths, lacquerwares, embroidered linens, furniture, bamboo, cooking utensils, ceremonial objects and much more. Then, you can enjoy people-watching at stylish cafes before shopping for impressive modern art in the city's many galleries. You will also visit Hanoi's main cultural attractions, including Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, his House on Stilts, the One Pillar Pagoda, the Fine Arts Museum, the Temple of Literature and the very impressive Museum of Ethnology. It is one of the finest museums in Vietnam, with many exhibits, pictures and model houses of the 54 ethnic minorities in Vietnam. You will then have an overnight stay in Hanoi.

Ha Long Bay Excursion (B/L)

In the morning you will drive to Ha Long Bay – the must-see place in Vietnam, the drive takes about 3 hours away. Once at Ha Long city you will be welcomed on board for a four-hour cruise in the magnificent bay, stopping along the way to visit one of the limestone caves in the area. As you are cruising, the boat crew will serve you a sumptuous local seafood lunch. Afterwards, you'll sail back to the harbour and rejoin your car back to head back to Hanoi for another overnight stay.

You can choose to stay overnight on a cruise in Ha Long Bay and fly to Ho Chi Minh city later on the following day.

04

Hanoi – Ho Chi Minh City (B/L)

You will transfer to the airport for a flight to Ho Chi Minh City, a city with rich history and culture, reflecting the strong architectural influence of China and France. You will be welcomed by InboundVietnam Travel’s tour guide and driver then drive to the hotel in the city center. In the afternoon, you will enjoy an easy and relaxed tour around district one and district 6 to visit Chinatown, the Thien Hau Pagoda, the Reunification Palace, the Opera House and the Hotel de Ville. You can also visit the emotional War Remnants Museum to learn more about Vietnam War from our side. Next, you will explore colourful outdoor markets and Dong Khoi Street, the city's most upscale shopping boulevard with fashionable boutiques and accessories designed by new Vietnamese designers, hill tribe crafts, high-quality linens and housewares.

Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.

05

HCMC - Cu Chi Tunnels (B/L)

In the morning you will have a half-day private excursion to the Cu Chi Tunnels which consist of more than 200km of underground tunnels. This main axis system has many branches connecting to underground hideouts, shelters, and entrances to other tunnels. The network included innumerable trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers and kitchens. Today the remaining tunnels have become a major tourist attraction, giving the visitor a unique experience and a feel for what underground life was like during the U.S.-Vietnam War.

An alternative option is to take a day tour of the Mekong Delta.

Depart Vietnam (B)

There is no activity planned for today, so you are free to enjoy souvenir shopping until transfer to the airport for your next flight.
